Geojedo Jangseungpo Hotel Carara

I booked after reading the positive reviews, and the owner really was kind, just as people said. The photo only shows breakfast. They serve it here: a baked egg, liquid yogurt, a bowl of pumpkin porridge, and a muffin. The food was quite high quality overall. The muffin may be too sweet if you have high blood sugar, while the pumpkin porridge was on a par with what you’d get at a porridge specialty restaurant.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shampoo are well stocked. The bedding smells warm and freshly dried, with clean sheets that feel nice. They change the bedding daily and clean thoroughly. For the low price, I understand why it’s classified as a three-star hotel rather than a motel.

I slept comfortably in a clean room and was very satisfied with the friendly service. They provided plenty of snacks, including roasted eggs, pumpkin porridge, yogurt, cookies, and coffee. I’d love to visit again!

It’s convenient for the outer islands: the Jangseongpo Tourist Line pier is an eight or nine-minute walk away, and Jangseongpo Bus Station is about ten minutes on foot. The rooms were well equipped and very clean. An elderly couple runs the hotel and they’re very welcoming. There weren’t many guests, so the auntie even upgraded my room. Highly recommended!
