We had a great time at Saenggak Sogui Jip Pension. The beautiful views and quiet setting made it a relaxing base for fishing, boating, and exploring the Geoje area. Busan is also only about a 30-minute drive away. The pension is roughly 15 minutes from the nearest town, though there are cafes and other places to eat within walking distance. The rooms work well for 3-4 people, so check the photos and prices carefully to make sure you book the one you want. My only issue was that the Jacuzzi needed some maintenance, which is why I gave it four stars.

From the bathtub, I could look straight at Geoga Bridge. With the lights off, starlight and neon glow seemed to fall around me.

We could fish from the breakwater just across the way, then sit and enjoy some peace and quiet. There’s also a fried chicken place in a nearby alley, worth getting takeaway from 😀👍 It’s a nice spot near Busan. I booked on the day at the last minute. They told me they’d been late confirming it and offered an upgrade, so I stayed in Jasmine Room 302. It was roomy, with two beds, a spa, and a terrace facing the ocean. A little dated, but clean and well looked after.

Room Jasmine 301 had a big corner window, so the view felt wonderful as soon as we arrived. The barbecue space was private, which let us relax without worrying about other guests, and the cutlery was clean and handy to use. The electric grill made barbecuing easy and clean. There’s a water purifier, so we didn’t need to pack bottled water, and parking was convenient too. From a distance the building looks lovely. At check-in it seemed a bit old, but we didn’t run into any problems.
