The price was reasonable, and both the location and view were great.

A good pension.

The room itself won me over. The stone floor, whether marble or something else, felt clean, and there was even a water purifier, which you don't usually find. The bathroom was tidy, too, and the whole place seemed well cared for. From the window, you can see Heungnam Beach below. I was satisfied overall and would come back if I get the chance. Getting to the room was a letdown at first because there was no elevator. The bigger problem was noise from the next room. Their kids ran around and shouted past midnight, and the soundproofing seemed weak, so I couldn't sleep. Mosquitoes got in when I opened the window, apparently through a gap in the screens, which slide up and down. Apart from those issues, the facilities and amenities felt clearly better than at other pensions.

I booked what I understood to be a spacious pool room for eight people for a stay with relatives, but got a small room with only one bed. They said the four-person room would cost 300-500 won. I added one person, which brought an extra 20,000 won charge and a total of 320,000 won. Using the kitchen or other amenities costs another 20,000 won. This feels like a scam to me, so I'm leaving a review. Be careful.
