Gochang Nemo's Dream Pension

The private BBQ setup and spa were nice.

The hot water comes from a storage heater, so when it runs out you may have to wait around three hours for it to heat back up. The pension is right across from Sanghanongwon, and everything else was great, though the convenience store is too far away.

The bedding was soft, and I slept really well. The owner was friendly and had barbecue seasonings ready, including salt, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ssamjang, so we only needed to bring food. The indoor barbecue area was separate from the room, comfortable, and had an electric grill. We stayed one night, April 23-24, at Nemo's Dream Pension in Gochang. Finding a place to stay in Gochang can be incredibly difficult. We picked a field view, which sounded a bit disappointing at first, but the fields were covered in rapeseed flowers during the fallow period. They were beautiful, and with hardly anyone around it was easy to take photos and enjoy the quiet. The scenery is like the photo if you visit in late April. It’s a nice spot for a morning walk, and the beach is about 15 minutes away on foot. At night, though, it’s very dark and scary, so I’d drive. The pension’s interior was better than I expected. I’d recommend it for couples or families wanting somewhere quiet and secluded.

There’s not much nearby, so it’s best to arrive prepared. The place is clean inside, and I had a pleasant, quiet stay.
