The main thing I worried about was the public parking lot right outside. On busy days or in peak season, car noise or exhaust could bother guests. Apart from that, the stay worked very well for me. The hotel is close to Gongju Fortress (Gong San Seong), the traditional market, peaceful paths along the river, and the local bus station. Breakfast is served near the front desk from 7:30~8am, with two kinds of fresh fruit, bread, jam and butter portions, small juice packs, boiled eggs, and coffee. I stayed three days in October for 130,000KRW, which seemed like good value, though I don't know Gongju city accommodation prices well. The place is definitely not spacious, so I'd suggest it for couples or solo travelers rather than families. Still, it was clean and bright in both the bedroom and bathroom, with no odd smell. I especially liked the firm mattress.

The room felt almost like a guesthouse because it was so small. The photos in the ad looked great, but the actual place was completely different. The parking area is unpaved and worse than the public lot out front.

The location and parking are convenient, but the large buses using the public lot can idle for a long time. Once they ran for over 30 minutes, it was hard to open the windows and the exhaust fumes bothered me a lot. Since this is a renovated old building turned into a Hanok hotel, I think they should go easier on the air fresheners.

The staff were friendly, and it was good value for money. The place was clean and nice, with a great view of Gongsanseong Fortress and a rooftop view too. Seems well suited to a one-night family stay.

Parking was easy thanks to the spacious lot, and the welcome baked egg was delicious. They also offered a simple breakfast, enough for a light meal. The family room had two bathrooms, which was handy, and the place was clean, friendly, and conveniently close to Gongsanseong Fortress. Traffic noise kept it from being especially quiet. There's no elevator either, so hauling luggage upstairs was difficult.
