Ilsan Residence

My parents stayed here when they came to visit me, and they were very happy with it. Ilsan Residence works well for a stay longer than a few days if you'd like more privacy than a hotel. It's in an officetel building, a type of small studio apartment in Korea that can also be used as office space. I knew about it through friends who lived in the building at the time. The staff were lovely and helpful. I went to the office, which is another room in the same building, though you can book online too. It felt comfortable having the basics of home. My parents had been traveling for a while before arriving in Korea, so they especially appreciated the washing machine. There's also Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fridge, microwave, and TV. The location is handy for Kintex if you're attending an expo or convention, and it's close to Ilsan's main shopping area. There are nice parks and plenty of restaurants around. It's also not too far from the airports, and buses and the subway connect the area to Seoul and the airports, so getting around is easy.
