Hotel In Cafe

We booked the priciest suite for 8:00 PM on Christmas Eve. I was out having fun and arrived around 9:00, an hour late, but they said there wasn't a room available because another guest was staying overnight. It wasn't a regular room, and maybe they simply didn't have one, but they had extended that guest's stay. I had to wait in a regular room for over an hour and only checked in at 10:30. At first the staff apologized and said it was their fault, and promised to make up for the lost service time and other things. In the end, all I got was a 1,000 won disposable item. The next day, they asked me to check out at the usual time. When I brought up what they'd promised, they asked if they'd given me bath bombs or something. They hadn't given me anything. The staff eventually seemed annoyed, even though they'd started by apologizing. I ended up having dinner at 11:00 PM on Christmas Eve.

For 80,000 won on a weekend, it didn't feel worth it. If I had to choose again, I'd probably stay somewhere in Seoul instead, lol. The parking entrance road was narrow and the spaces were pretty small. Inside looked clean, and there were two computers. The game worked, which was nice. But the right-hand corner was so dusty it seemed like nobody cleaned it, and I had a hard time getting it clean myself. The air conditioning couldn't keep things cool. I was hot even while sleeping.

The second-floor snack bar was the best part for me. You can grab all kinds of food without worrying about other people, so it has a hostel or guesthouse feel. A hot-water purifier would make it even better. Towels, drinks, and water are also available in the hallway, and there are board games, which seems handy for families. There's a self-service machine, though I couldn't see why it was needed with the elevator right in front of the counter staff. The owner seems to use lodging places often and tries to reduce the little hassles. It was quiet, though there was some thumping now and then, lol.

The second-floor cafe has brewed coffee, a toaster, a washing machine, and a drinks counter, all free. I can see younger people liking it, though you're not meant to sleep there, haha. The dull wallpaper makes the room feel gloomy even with the lights on, kind of like a basement. Since it's down an alley, getting in and parking are difficult. They offer valet parking, but that could be hit or miss. I arrived around 9 PM, not even late, and it was already crowded. The front desk staff were rushing around and everything felt chaotic. I probably wouldn't return, lol.
