Jirisan Parkview

The river was right in front of my balcony, and the room was comfortable. Everyone was welcoming and nice during my two days there. It's a great base for visiting the temple or hiking in the mountains. I recommend it 😊

The hotel is very clean throughout, and we had a pleasant river view. There's a downstairs dining area where you can cook for yourself. Its position right by the national park entrance is fantastic for hiking, though it's away from the city. Buses stop in the square in front several times a day. During our stay, if you couldn't get cash at the town ATMs with a credit card, there was a walkable 7/11 with an ATM that accepted foreign cards.

The Pension was spotless, and my room had plenty of space. The Proprietress was very helpful. I really enjoyed staying here and would choose it again if I'm back in Gurye.

Breakfast isn't included, but you can make your own meals in the large shared room, which has lots of dishes and a small coffee shop. The staff are friendly, and parking is right outside. Hikes are easy to reach, with several restaurants within walking distance, though they close fairly early. Jirisan Park View Pension sits quietly beside a small river near Hwaeomsa Temple in Jirisan. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with good beds, air conditioning, heating, and blackout curtains. Some look out over the water. It's a pleasant base for couples, families, solo travelers, and anyone who enjoys nature.
