I stayed in an eight-person room with a shared bathroom, and it was clean and tidy. The property has a controlled heating system, which was really nice. There’s a bus stop and convenience store nearby, and the area itself is quiet, especially at night. Finding the place was a bit tricky since it’s tucked inside an alleyway.
The guesthouse is really cozy, and the owner is kind and speaks good English. He’s let me stay for two months for free! I’ve met lots of nice people here and made many good memories :)
The owner was always ready to help with any problem, and everything was clean and looked good. The beds were perfect for resting after a long journey, and the shower room was big and clean. I stayed six nights, and this is one of the best hostels I’ve been to. If I’m back in gwangju someday, I’ll stay at GWANGJU BACKPACKER'S for sure!
The cute style and decent amenities make this a good deal for the price. The bathrooms are a little dated, though, and they double-booked one of our rooms, which was frustrating. We’d probably stay again anyway.
Rooms were clean, and there’s a small breakfast. The location is okay, though there isn’t much to do at night. For such a low price, it’s a good hostel.
