I live abroad and come to Gwangju every year to handle business before heading down to the countryside. This time my mother, my teenage son, and I stayed at Hive Inn. The place was really clean, the staff were kind, and I was very satisfied. Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but you could tell it was made with care. I preferred it to a bigger spread that felt like little effort had gone into it. It was the first time I'd gone to greet the kitchen lady, and she even made the fried eggs deliciously. It really felt like home cooking. I had a great stay for 3 nights and 4 days. The nearby restaurants and the Dadam Supermarket right next door were great too.

Some of my things were thrown away from the room without my permission, even though I hadn't put them in the trash. When I asked about them, they were returned dirty and unusable, so I had no choice but to throw them away.

The bedding was excellent, and the room was clean. It felt like a lot of care had gone into the place, including the high-quality toilet and sink.

The location near the busy high-tech district was great. I had a great stay, with comfortable bedding, a clean room and shower room, and a bathtub. The room also had useful amenities like an air purifier and clothes steamer.

The facilities were clean, and there was no cigarette smell, perhaps because the building is new. The room was disappointing, though: the booking app photos made it look quite spacious, but it didn't feel that way in person. In room 303, water drips onto the bathroom toilet. A leak.
