There’s no window in the room, though the bathroom is spacious and good. It’s a medium hotel in the city’s nightlife area, and the Western-style breakfast was poor.

After stopping at a pretty teahouse and tea garden on our 41st anniversary trip, we needed a place to stay at the last stop in Gwangju Metropolitan City. The MAY caught my eye, so I didn’t mind driving 30 minutes to get there. ㅋ The bed was clean and helped me recover from the travel fatigue. The hotel was very well managed, and they even served breakfast, a hearty meal that felt like it was made by a mom~♡ The friendly chef was a real treat. I gave her a rainbow set and a hand-knitted dishcloth, and we left on a happy note at checkout 🌈
