The manager was really nice, and the couple running the Mart down the street were super friendly too. The location was fine, though there wasn't much to do in gwangju. Management felt very loose: there was no formal front desk, and nobody was in the building when my friend and I first arrived. The only men's bathroom was on the first floor, with all the rooms upstairs. We're pretty sure there were fleas or some other bugs, since we both woke up with lots of bites.

The place has a nice kitchen, great bathroom, comfortable bed, and a living room where I could relax. It's on the second floor with no elevator, but the staff kindly helped with my bags. They were patient and helpful, slowing down so I could understand and taking time to show me around. The listing says they only speak Korea, but I'm from chile and understood his instructions without any problem. There's a store beside it too, and the attendant there was really kind and happy to help. Great place to stay.
