The rooms were lovely and clean, though expensive, and the staff spoke English. Most had studied abroad. The breakfast wasn't really to my taste. Laundry service worked well, but the timing is strict and there's no service over the weekend. A mix-up about pickup times had me worrying about having clean underwear. The hotel is tall, around 10 stories, with a nice view across the harbor area. Head to the top floor for a great view. In my room the temperature stayed around 27-28°C, much warmer than I'm used to. It took several days to get the staff to set it to 20°C. The wall controls didn't actually change the room temperature, so in very cold weather I had to open the windows to sleep.

It's a quiet spot, about a 10 minute walk from downtown, with a few restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable, and the room had free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a flatscreen TV. The rooftop has a view of the harbor bridge. A good, clean place to stay. I took off a star because the rest of the hotel is always so dark. There's no sunlight in the lobby or in front of the rooms.
