Royal Heritage Hotel

Helpful staff, a nice hotel, and a really good breakfast.

I ended up booking in a hurry, but it worked out well. The price was good for the accommodation, and I enjoyed my stay. My room on the 20th floor was clean and quiet, with three layers of windows. There was a clothing cabinet and extra hanging space, a luggage table, plus a desk and tea table with two comfortable chairs and one extra chair. The bed suited me because I like a firm mattress. The bathroom had a good bidet toilet, vanity, and shower. Service from the staff was friendly. There’s a coffee shop on the ground floor, and reception is open 24 hours. Breakfast is available, though I didn’t try it, and there’s a gym, which I also didn’t use. The room WiFi and reception WiFi had separate access. There was no international multi plug. The underground parking was a bit dim, but guest visitors can park free for two hours if they let reception know. It’s not too far from ICN airport, and my taxi fare was under 100krw. There’s a train station and bus stop nearby, along with banks, shopping centers, eateries, and a hospital. Early one morning I went out for a small pack of milk for tea, but the 24 convenience store was a bit far and down an alleyway. In an unfamiliar area, that felt a little scary. Check prices on other accommodation booking sites, since booking directly isn’t always cheaper. I’d recommend the place.

The rooms are nice, and it’s a very good hotel, but I was disappointed there weren’t USB or universal power outlets. The breakfast buffet was average, and the serving hours were too short. During my two-week stay, I only managed to eat there once.

My company booked this hotel for about 15 people. I arrived around 12pm, and even though they had a room available, they wouldn’t let me check in. They told me to wait until 3pm, with no extra fee. This was a really bad experience, and I won’t come back.
