Among the places near Bomun Tourist Complex, I found this pension to be great value. I was a little hesitant after reading the Google reviews, but the rooms are clean now and the swimming pool is in good condition. The kids loved it, and I’d be 100% willing to come back anytime!

The pool villa photos really don’t exaggerate, but the bathtub in the pool was only about the size of a family bath. I thought the kids would enjoy the duplex, and expected the beds to be on the first floor, but they were only upstairs on the second floor. Carrying our luggage up and down with my 5-month-old baby made me feel like my knees were going to break. I paid an extra 50,000 won for hot water, but they didn’t provide any more water, and by the next day it was cold, so I couldn’t swim. The owner was unfriendly, too. This was truly the worst trip ever. I don’t think I’ll come back, and I’d be better off going to a local bathhouse. It feels like I threw away 240,000 won.

My daughter loved playing in the water, and she had such a great time. The place was comfortable and relaxing, and the room had everything we needed, so we just grabbed some food and headed out.

The whole pension was kept clean, and they handled all our many requests with a smile. We had a fun, enjoyable stay, and I’d 100% come back if I visit Gyeongju again.
