The kids liked how spacious the grounds were, and there's a stream below. But the cold water wasn't working, and there was no toilet in the room. We saw cockroaches, and it was very cold by the stream. The room also had poor soundproofing, so we could hear the people next door at night.

The valley beside the campground is lovely, and the place has a different kind of appeal for team trips or longer stays, with a lot of freedom. It's an older campground, and the amenities are a bit of a mess. The restrooms, sinks, and showers definitely need renovation.

The trees provide lovely cool shade in summer. The valley is fantastic, with water running over the bedrock all year, and its natural pool is great for kids.

The owner is kind. There are lots of flies, though, so mealtime could get pretty noisy haha.
