Gyeongju Yam Gyeongju City Hall

The staff were nice and efficient when I was there on business.

The building and the area around it are kept clean and tidy. Parking can still be hard to find, even though the lot isn't especially small, because so many people visit for business and the building is close to the congressional district.

What happened to that bird was not a rescue. After it was disoriented from hitting glass, they dropped it near the glass again and caused another collision, then dropped it onto a brick wall. They hadn't properly checked its condition before releasing it and saying it would be fine. Why are wild animal rescue staff outsourced, and by what criteria? There are clear bloodstains where the bird fell. I'm frustrated by the official in charge's response, and very annoyed that Gyeongju City handled this so carelessly while receiving public funds.

If you need documents, there are self-service kiosks, and an information officer by the entrance can answer questions. Knowing the right procedure for whatever you're handling can save time and effort. The officials who deal with petitioners are fairly friendly, too. The building is tidy inside and out, though the spacious parking area gets crowded because petitioners are always coming through.
