J Motel

Even though the sign says "Hotel," this is actually a motel. It has most of what you'd expect, but the quality is below other places. The slim PCs seem difficult to upgrade and are only a little better than having nothing, so don't expect much. (Windows 7.8 is installed.) I can't speak to breakfast, but there's a coffee machine and a snack bar by the first-floor counter. The motel description says the snack bar is available 24 hours, but the male owner said the items were only for breakfast and could be eaten once. The description should be updated. Then he seemed concerned I'd misunderstand and said I shouldn't be petty about the food. He advertises it as available anytime because it's open 24 hours, but what he means is that it's wasteful to eat only a few times. I understood him right away and wasn't confused.

The first-floor snack bar was handy, and the toilets have bidets. The facilities were clean, and having a whirlpool bathtub made it great for easing away the day's fatigue.

We stayed here on a family trip, and the staff were so welcoming. It seemed like a really lovely place.

The people were kind and the place was nice. It worked fine for a one-night stay.
