Sindal Guesthouse

We loved this charming guesthouse, especially its thoughtful design and sweet cats. It’s a traditional Korean home, so you take off your shoes and sleep on a simple floor mat. The owners were nice, and the place is close to the main sights and bus station. We’d happily come back.

The cats were a big part of why I chose Sindal Guesthouse, since I trust cat people, and having them around was such a treat. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the rooms felt warm and cozy. Staying in a traditional Korean space was a really cool experience. You can see the care the owners put into the design and feel of the place. It was so cute and went well beyond what I expected.

They gave us a detailed map and suggestions for what to see in Gyeongju. We tried a few and they were genuinely good. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was simple but tasty. It’s a traditional guesthouse with lovely decor, a beautiful rooftop, and a room for the adorable cats.

The owner was so welcoming and helped me sort out a train booking when I ran into problems at checkout. The maps and information were a big help too. I loved the cosy atmosphere, from the lounge and terrace to the cat room, which was arranged to give the cats privacy when they wanted it. There was peaceful music, and it was clear how loved they were. The location made getting to and from the bus terminal easy, and the nearby bus stop goes all over Gyeongju. I had a wonderful stay at Sindal Guesthouse and would come back.
