The floor mat was more comfortable than I expected, and the room had good heating and AC. The bathroom and shower were good too, and there’s a shared kitchen if you want to cook. This is a small, homey traditional hanok in one of South Korea’s most historically interesting cities, an easy walk from the Silla dynasty park and burial mounds. If you’re after hot tubs and lots of amenities, this isn’t the place. For a real hanok stay, I wouldn’t trade it for a night at the Ritz. A lifetime memory. I’d strongly recommend renting a three-wheeled electric scooter to get around the park. You can ride it all the way to the National History Museum, and it’s well worth it.

The guest house is in a lively spot in Gyeongju. The host is kind and cool, and the room was very clean with a traditional feel.

The host was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. I’d love to visit again soon.

Breakfast was provided, and the hanok is in a great location. It’s a really beautiful place, too, with a very friendly host.
