The Hanok is beautifully done, and the stay felt fantastic. It lands squarely in boutique luxury for me.

The room's furnishings were clean and luxurious, and daylight coming into the hanok at check-in made a lovely first impression. We had only a little time in the morning, but still got croissants and good coffee at Terra Rosa. The owner pointed us toward delicious restaurants, and at night we could visit the wine bar beside the royal tomb, which is exclusive to Soyeonjae guests. The owner was kind as he saw us off, and the whole stay felt top-notch.

The owner clearly puts care into keeping Soyeonjae clean. You can also have the complimentary Terarosa coffee. If you want to experience a traditional Korean tile-roofed house, this is a place to visit.

The owner's kindness and eye for detail made the stay a real pleasure. With its woodsy scent, the space fits beautifully with Gyeongju's traditional character and natural surroundings.
