We arrived in South Korea for our first trip without knowing about this hotel. A friend who isn't local tried to help by booking it for us, but this place didn't feel suited to tourists. There was used toothpaste, and the bed had a cigarette burn. Smoking is allowed in this room, maybe in all the rooms. The conduct there also seemed to involve a different kind of business.

If you can come in a quieter season, this is good value for Balan. For about 35 USD, two people get a double queen size bed, toast for breakfast, two bottles of mineral water, and basic amenities. It was the only good value hotel I could find in Balan using Agora. You may find better choices in nearby larger cities like Ansan or Suwon.

The room service was quite comfortable, and breakfast and espresso were free. It's a smart hotel for trips. I couldn't figure out the air conditioner's temperature controls, but I asked the service center for help and it was sorted out.

The price is good and the hotel is decent, though not the cleanest. Most rooms have higher end features like bidet toilets and a jacuzzi. It doesn't seem meant for staying several nights, though.
