Hotel Intrada Icheon

The rooms were spacious and comfortable for our family with a teenager. The location wasn't great, and when the fried chicken shop downstairs opens, the hotel smells of fried food. The hotel advertises a Roof Garden, Spa, and arcade, but none of them was open, which was disappointing. They should remove facilities they no longer operate so guests have more accurate expectations.

The bathroom setup is a hassle: there’s no shower door, so water ends up all over the floor. The heating also wouldn’t let up until I asked the front desk to turn it off. Even then, the room stayed too hot, and I had to sleep with the sliding glass door open and listen to traffic. Breakfast is pretty limited, including “fried potatoes” that are just French fries, and the front desk staff didn’t know much about transportation. It’s a very bare-bones hotel. My room during a two-week quarantine was actually better.

The reception is on the third floor, and getting to the rooms by elevator can be confusing since some elevators don’t reach them. It’s close to SK Hynix and the nightlife area. The hotel also shares its building with long-term residents, so you can easily run into local people.

I was here for business and found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Breakfast was enjoyable, and getting here by public transport was easy.
