I was really shocked by how this place handled the points and the front desk conversation. They've had a points system since my first stay, but there was no clear explanation of how it worked. From what I was told, cash customers can earn 2,000 points five times to reach 10,000 and get one waiting-room use. Card customers, or anyone mixing cash and card, need 20,000 points, with 1,000 points deducted, for one use. So the five-plus-one deal only applies to cash payments. Who's going to pay by card twenty times for one free use? I was told lodging points can only be used for lodging, while waiting-room points only count for the waiting room. Even cash customers who've used a card once apparently have to reach 20,000 points. When I asked whether this should be explained more clearly, the staff sounded irritated throughout and eventually said they wouldn't offer that service anymore. I don't know if that's how you should treat customers who've been using the place. Because of the lack of Hador, I won't use them again. I can't tell whether I was wrong to ask, or whether they figured they had enough customers and could brush me off. It felt like the point card had been issued with a vague explanation when the details should have been made clear from the start. I'll never use them again, though I hope they improve how they treat customers. Losing people who are upset by this will cost them.

They keep the hotel clean and in good shape. Parking is available, though there's not a lot of space. Down in the first-floor lobby, there's a fridge with drinks and water plus a coffee machine.

Mari is clean and nice, so I use it often. For motels near Iksan Station, it's the decent one, though don't expect hotel-level standards. It's not actually that incredible, despite the jokes about Mari being the best around and telling people to look up at it when they ask about the area's future. If you stay after reading this and don't like it, leave a comment so I know not to go there either.

I slept well. The bed was warm and cozy, and the facilities were good. Everything felt clean and nice.
