Browndot Airport New Town

The room was comfortable and just right for a layover, and the location was great. The staff were very friendly. I appreciated the extra conveniences, including a computer and printer, free washing and drying, and a free transfer to the airport. Thanks to the driver for being so kind. I’d definitely stay again.

There are plenty of places to eat and convenience stores nearby. The hotel and room were clean, and the room was small but worked well for me. It’s only one train stop from the airport, then about a five-minute walk from the station. Free washers and dryers are a nice bonus. If you need the airport shuttle, reserve it two days ahead.

The suite was much roomier than I expected, around 22-24m², with a huge TV and an even bigger bathroom. The bathtub could easily fit a family with two kids. I upgraded to get the massage bed, and used it quite a lot. The massage chair looked appealing too, but I wouldn’t have had time for both. Its kneading knobs felt so good I wanted to buy this Ceragem, though it always starts at the head and made mine a little sore. The room descriptions should be clearer about which rooms include the chair, and the stated 10m² didn’t seem right, even from the photos. There’s a dryer in the room that sterilizes clothes, which came in handy after I got food poisoning and vomited on mine. I washed them in the large bathroom first, then used the free washing machine and dryer. Detergent is provided at no charge. The machine has lots of settings, including an AI cycle based on how dirty things are, an 18-minute quick cycle, and fitness modes. It’s a good layover location, with restaurants and little shops to explore, and Unseo station is between the airport stations and Seoul/Hongik stations. Still, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Unseo. My bed sheets were spotless and comfortable, and I slept really well.

Breakfast in the basement was nice, with ramen stations, milk and cereal, toast, and soup. The hotel also runs an airport shuttle every hour between 5am and 8am. We got there from Terminal 1 by local bus in about 20 minutes. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the TV had Apple TV and TVing. A handy place for travelers, especially if you have an early flight or arrive in the evening.
