I’m Korean, and I really wouldn’t recommend this place to visitors to Korea. If low price and convenient access are all you care about, go ahead. It seems like lots of people stay one night because of the location. But the pickup staff member was rude and completely unreasonable. He made me run to catch the pickup car so he wouldn’t have to come back to the airport, then complained that I didn’t have a Korean phone number. I’m an expat, not a resident in Korea. As soon as we got in the car, he asked me and another guest exactly what time we’d want a ride the next day. After the other guest gave an estimate, he told him, “You had better to take a bus.” Then he demanded that I state my exact departure time right then. He showed no respect at all. After I complained about his attitude, I was kicked out of the hotel after midnight. I eventually got into the room I’d reserved, but then he called me around 2 AM. I was furious and couldn’t sleep at all. Please don’t go there.

The owner was friendly and spoke English well, and after checkout he was happy to take us back to the airport so we could catch the metro into downtown Seoul. We arrived on a flight just before midnight, called from the airport phone stand as instructed, and the van came in ten minutes. At the place itself, finding your room alone would be almost impossible unless the owner is with you. It’s actually several flats converted into guest rooms. For KRW 55,000, our room had three wide beds and could comfortably fit six people, which is dirt cheap for South Korea. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores on the ground floor open late, so food’s fine if you’re not fussy. The area outside felt a little deserted. We stayed just one night after a long flight, and for that it was a fair deal.

There’s no proper reception, so write down the address. You’ll need to find the room on the 2nd floor, where registration is, and remember the room number. It’s an apartment and office building adapted for guests, rather than a regular hotel. The rooms are large and good for the price. You can walk to an Emart, and the airport shuttle service is great. I’d stay again. If it’s raining hard when you arrive, expect to get a little wet since there’s no covered area for car drop-offs.

Joon handled the booking and airport ride arrangements very professionally. Pickup was speedy and the booking process was easy, and the service was prompt throughout.
