My wife and I were heading out for our first pension trip when the owner called around 11 and said it was snowing, asking if we should cancel. We’re from Gangwon-do, so we said we could make it. We arrived around 3:20 PM, and the owner came out to meet us, got the charcoal ready, and brought blankets and hot packs because it was cold. When they saw we’d brought beef, they gave us seasoning and helped with a bunch of little things. It had been snowing heavily for the first time that year. I called at 8 in the morning, and they said Yeongheungdo wasn’t getting snow, so we thought it was fine. I checked again at about 10:30, and they said it still wasn’t snowing. Now they’re saying it’ll snow tomorrow too, so I’m wondering how we’ll get home. Snow or shine, cold or hot, I really want to come back.
