Days Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Incheon Airport

The airport shuttle is handy if you need it, but you have to get a ticket at reception about 30 minutes ahead. It costs 4,000 won per person. The hotel itself was very nice, with good service, and my room was clean and decent.

The only real issue was a fire drill warning on my second night. It came out of nowhere, people on my floor panicked, and staff didn’t sort things out right away. For getting to the airport, the train worked better for me: Unseo Station is walkable, trains start at 5:20 a.m., and the ride takes about eight minutes. The hotel transfer costs 4,000 won, but takes longer and doesn’t start until 6 a.m. There’s plenty around the station too, including Lotte Mart, two Daiso stores, two Olive Young shops, convenience stores, Mega Coffee, and kimbap places. The accommodation was clean. The room felt a bit tight for two people, though it should be comfortable enough for one. It had the essentials: a hair dryer, fridge, cooking area, and microwave.

I’ve stayed here twice before, and after this visit I’m not sure I’ll come back. I booked a room with one bed but was put in family room 433 instead. The room had a strong musty smell, and the bathroom was worse, with a heavy urine odor. The pantry area by the fridge and washing machine smelled unbearable too. It was convenient for an overnight stop before an early flight, but waking up to a cockroach made the stay a nightmare. The room was also freezing, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature myself. Staff were helpful, though not especially friendly.

The location is the main reason I might stay here again if I had to be in the area. There are lots of food options nearby, along with Lotte Mart, the train station, and bus stops. The room upkeep was poor. The sheets and carpet were stained, and housekeeping seemed to overlook it during the turnover. Towels were changed daily, but the hand towels I got still had odd stains. When we asked the desk for extra pillows, they said it was “impossible.” We also needed help booking an appointment at the nearby BMW driving center, but the front desk staff were impatient and unhelpful.
