Ganghwa badane pension

Being able to bring my dog was great, but I'm not sure the whirlpool room was worth the price. It's just a simple studio apartment, and it's not close to the ocean either. The prices for dogs and barbecue also suddenly went up before my stay.

The surroundings were quiet, the night view was nice, and the spa helped me relax. Aside from that, it was okay. The bathroom was pitch black and moldy, the mattress creaked, and I woke up aching all over. The soundproofing was terrible too. Around 10 PM, I heard men screaming from the upstairs apartment, so I experienced the noise between floors right away. I paid an extra 15,000 won per dog, but this dog-friendly pension provided no dog supplies at all, not even pads, bowls, or towels. The owner also seemed more concerned about the spa tub than the guests' experience. There's a spa tub on the veranda that costs a million won, and because they said we shouldn't let sparks fly, they told us to grill barbecue outside even though it was snowing heavily. I've stayed at quite a few dog-friendly pensions, and this was the worst of them.

I stayed at Yeondu Spa. It was comfortable, almost like being at home, even though the ocean wasn't very visible. The owner was kind, and there were lots of cafes nearby. There were also plenty of cats, so it seems like a nice place for cat lovers.

The ocean showed in the photos, but I couldn't see it when I actually got there, which was disappointing. The pension was clean, the landlady was kind, and the spa was great!!! It was nice to be able to barbecue indoors on a cold day, haha.
