Guesthouse Innergarden Incheon Airport - Hostel

We were eight people, six adults and two kids, and I had booked three single rooms ahead of time. At check-in, they added 20,000 KRW per room, 60,000 KRW total, without upgrading anything or giving us any extra service. That fee wasn't made clear to me and wasn't in the booking details, so I want an explanation and a proper review of the charge. The reception staff were rude and unprofessional as well, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The extra charge felt unreasonable, and I hope they respond promptly. If there's a better option, go there.

The room was warm in the dusky winter and very clean. I liked having both a shower and a tub, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It was a short stay, but a lovely one. Thank you.

I picked this place because it was near the airport and needed somewhere to wait before my flight. The man at the desk was patient and really nice when I arrived. I got an early check-in, though the room was a bit messy. Since I only meant to stay a few hours, I let that go. I did notice hairs in the sink and a stain on the bed. The room felt dated, and the mattress was quite hard for me. It was very cheap, though, so for what I paid it wasn't too bad.

The hotel itself was clean enough, but the surrounding town was really dirty, and it was much farther from the airport than I expected. You either have to pay extra for a shuttle or call a taxi. I worried the taxi might get the location wrong, since the hotel isn't near the airport and doesn't feel like an airport area. It seemed like an ex-couple hotel. I could put up with that, but I might not have if I were with a partner.
