The view of the modern city at night was splendid, a lovely contrast with the quiet hotel. It’s beautifully designed around Joseon heritage, and the photos are accurate. For a five-star hotel the price was unbeatable, and it’s close to Central Park, with the airport bus stop within walking distance. Still, I found the staff cold and not especially welcoming, and I’d expected more from a five-star stay. Toothpaste and toothbrushes aren’t provided, so bring your own. The hotel information and amenities QR code is in Hangul, and I wish there were an English guide for foreign guests.

Staying here felt very different from a typical hotel. This hanok-style place sits in the middle of picturesque Songdo Central Park, and the rooms were very clean, nicely appointed, and had great amenities.

The only real downside was the location, since there aren’t many markets nearby and the closest is about an hour away. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful, quiet hotel that felt like something from a Korean drama. The room came with an expensive toilet and an expensive massager.

We first stayed here on our honeymoon, and now it’s a must whenever we’re in Korea. I love the traditional style inside and out, and the amenities are top notch. Sitting in the courtyard, you get a nice contrast between the traditional building and the high-rises in the distance.

The breakfast was delicious and the service polite. It’s a beautiful traditional-style hotel, conveniently close to Songdo Park and restaurants.
