Hotel Galaxy

The floor wasn’t very clean, so I’d strongly suggest bringing disposable slippers. The unit bathroom had a urine smell that I tried cleaning myself several times, but it never got better.

Wolmido has plenty of grilled shellfish and sashimi places, which makes this a nice spot for a weekday break at a good price. The recently renovated inside and outside are clean, and the owner is very friendly. Great for a relaxing stay during the week.

I felt I’d wasted my money and checked out without getting a refund. After I lifted the blanket, I found hair on the bed and clear signs of body fluids. I asked the owner to change the sheets, but they refused, claiming it would make dust and inconvenience me. I was stunned by that answer. Don’t go. The hotel right next door is much cleaner and cheaper.

There’s a styler here, which I couldn’t find at about five other hotels near Wolmido. It’s an old building without much of a clean-looking feel, though it had been cleaned well. There wasn’t a phone charger in the room, so bring your own.
