I’ve never seen a room this dirty. The sheets were filthy, dust was everywhere, the floor felt sticky, and there were coffee marks on the table. The faucet was broken and the smell was awful. There weren’t mosquito screens on the windows, so I couldn’t air the room out.

For the price, I can’t complain. Get a room with a balcony if you want to smell food from the nearby restaurants. Also ask the clerk to show you the room first, since some lower-floor windows face the wall of the next building.

The area had plenty nearby, including restaurants, coffee shops, a bakery, and a 24-hour convenience store. It’s about 30 minutes from both Incheon and Gimpo airports. We booked two two-bedroom family units at Hotel Soulhada, each with two queen beds and doors for privacy, something that can be hard to find in Korea. Our unit also had a huge deck where we could have coffee in the morning or wine at night. The rooms were clean and had everything we could need: toiletries such as brushes, a comb, face wash, shampoo and conditioner, plus toothbrushes, slippers, robes, a mini kitchen, and a BBQ grill. Check-in was easy, and the agents spoke some English.
