We chose this place as a transit hotel and have stayed twice, once in a Premium Double and once in a Deluxe Double. Both rooms were clean and had what we needed, and the soundproofing was good too. It’s a smaller hotel, but we preferred it to some of the bigger-name places nearby. The hotel has been here a long time and the rooms have been renovated nicely. For us, the location worked well: Daiso and a Lotte mart are close, there are convenience shops and plenty of restaurants, and a taxi to Incheon airport or Paradise City takes about 15 minutes. That suited us for our morning flights out of Korea. Breakfast comes with the booking. It’s simple, with hard-boiled eggs, toast, coffee and juice. There’s also a self-service cafe on the ground floor that stays open 24 hours. We were especially happy with the service from concierge Mr. Han, who was friendly and very helpful with things like arranging transport. Keep it up, Mr. Han!

Unseo station is very close, and the area has plenty of restaurants and convenience shops, including 711, cumart and emart24. The hotel was recently renovated, very clean and quiet, and there’s a mini oven on every floor. Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast is basic, just bread, cheese slices, eggs and milk, but it was enough. At this price, it felt very reasonable.

The location made things easy, with the station, bus stops, Daiso, Olive Young and several convenience stores nearby. Even though it’s rated three stars, my room was clean and spacious, and towels and breakfast were included. The reception staff were warm, easy to communicate with and informative. They speak English fluently too, which made the stay friendly for foreign visitors. I’d stay here again if I come back to Incheon. For me, it felt like a five-star experience.

My favorite part of staying at the Hound Hotel was the front desk help, especially Han. He was consistently kind, professional and attentive, helping with local information and transportation and making things smooth from check-in onward. That kind of hospitality really reflects well on the hotel. The cleaning staff were also polite, accommodating and wonderful. Since we stayed several nights, I wanted to mention the work they do, which deserves more recognition. The rooms were roomy, quiet and clean, with a modern feel and good amenities. It was a comfortable, calming place to return to after a long flight. My one suggestion is to offer a fuller or more varied breakfast, particularly for guests staying several nights. What was served was fresh and presented nicely, but when the hotel was called "Queen" and under its previous ownership, breakfast was memorable. A Korean grandma worked for 3-4 hours in the morning, cooking eggs to order along with bacon or sausage, with cereal, kimchee and a few other things laid out. It was simple, and I imagine it wouldn’t cost too much to bring back. For someone who travels a lot, that breakfast felt like being in my grandmother’s kitchen and getting love through her cooking. I used to look forward to passing through Incheon for it. I think an arrangement like that could pay off many times over. I highly recommend the Hound Hotel to visitors to Incheon. The comfort and heartfelt service, especially from Han, made it shine.

There’s plenty of food and shopping around this hotel, and it’s just three subway stops from Incheon airport. The ride was $2.40 CDN per adult. I paid $82 CDN for a weekday night in 2026. The beds are large queens, the place is clean, and lots of items are self-serve. Breakfast is simple, with eggs, bread and coffee. A++++
