We loved having a runway view from such a spacious room. The planes stopped around midnight and didn’t start again until 6 a.m., so the supplied earplugs weren’t really needed. The shuttle ran on time and made the five-minute trip to the airport easy. After checking in, we went back there to eat, since F1 and B1 have plenty of places to choose from. The hotel restaurant serves buffet meals, and the bar has snacks too. There’s also a well-stocked little shop by the hotel, with prices that seemed about the same as 24-hour stores in the city. Reception staff were friendly and spoke very good English. A great option if you need to stay close to T1 or T2 before an early flight. Highly recommend it.

The room was a nice surprise: clean, modern, and very comfortable, and I even got an upgrade at check-in. The reception team were welcoming, and everything went smoothly. It’s right beside Terminal 2, with a handy shuttle between the airport and the hotel. I only stayed one night, but it worked really well for a short airport stay. I’d happily come back.

Just watch out for the afternoon break and the last bus, which is around 10 p.m. Food choices are limited to the hotel dining area or the 24-hour convenience store in the lobby. Still, I’d recommend it to anyone staying near the airport.

There’s not much around this hotel. It sits in a car park, with no pavement to walk to the airport and nothing to do nearby. For dinner, we could have bought cup noodles from the shop and eaten in our room, gone to the restaurant, returned to the airport, or taken a taxi somewhere vaguely nearby. We chose the taxi to try to experience something a bit Korean. As a stopover, though, it does the basics well: you get a bed close to the airport, and the transfers there and back are efficient. My main issue was the pool, spa, and sauna. The listing didn’t make it clear that these cost extra, and it was £6 per person. The facilities are also separated by gender. I’d hoped to relax in the pool with my wife, but between the added cost and having to go separately, we decided neither of us would use it. That should have been clearer when choosing the hotel.
