Incheon Airport Hotel Airstay

The bed was the main problem. It felt like a box spring with no mattress, though maybe someone used to sleeping on nails wouldn’t mind. The temperature controls were in Korean, and nobody explained them. There was no soap, and the towels were limited, so I had to ask for both. I was out for about an hour and came back to find the room hadn’t been cleaned. The only other staff member I saw was watching TV. The airport pickup and drop-off listing was misleading: I specifically checked for it before booking, but after I’d paid a non-refundable rate, I found out the service only runs from 5am to 10am. Guests were also noisy at 11pm. That’s not exactly the hotel’s fault, but it does make me wonder what kind of inconsiderate crowd it attracts.

The older woman at the front desk was helpful. The driver who picked me up from the airport was rough, but the gentleman who took me back was very kind and spoke really good English. I stayed here last month.

I booked a room with airport transfers both ways and tried several times to arrange pickup by emailing the front desk weeks ahead. No one replied. When I called internationally, the receptionist who answered only spoke Korean, sneezed five times, then hung up. Don’t waste your time here.

The room had a huge Smart TV and a tiny window, plus a bath with seriously powerful water. It was okay, but not as clean as advertised, and cleanliness matters most to me, so that’s why I gave it 3/5. For airport access, it’s good value: about a five-minute walk to Unseo train/metro station and around 10 minutes by train to Incheon airport. Seoul is 54 minutes away, so the distance from the city brings the location score down to 3/5. I was only here for one night.
