The design is beautiful, but it seems the focus on looks has come at the expense of basic housekeeping. Cleanliness is the foundation of hospitality, and management should take this seriously. This level of negligence is inexcusable and makes me question the hotel’s overall quality control. We were very disappointed and frankly shocked by the standards of this supposed four-star hotel. The first room we got at check-in had a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was a strong urine smell as soon as we walked in, so we immediately had to ask for another room. Then, after dinner, I went to shower and couldn’t find any towels. My wife checked whether they’d been put somewhere else and found a used towel hanging inside the wardrobe. That’s a serious hygiene failure and a complete breakdown of basic housekeeping. It’s unacceptable at any hotel, especially one claiming to be four-star. Guests aren’t asking for much, just cleanliness and proper housekeeping.

We arrived thinking our stay was paid for, but the hotel had no reservation for us. Nobody spoke English, so we had to communicate through Google Translate. There wasn’t an alternative room offered, and there was no WiFi. The area needed a good clean, too. The reception photos also leave out a metal partition dividing the space in half, with two different hotels in the same building. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice view, though nothing special. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby, but it takes about 15 minutes by car to reach the next town, where there are lots more shops and things to do. The hotel’s food buffet was one of the worst I’ve seen at a hotel. There was very little variety at each meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I found it comfortable overall, and the terrace was lovely, but the quality didn’t quite justify the price. Checkout was pretty early, and the room could use a few more things, like a better hairbrush. For me, it’s a 7 out of 10.
