Incheon Soma Hotel

For the price, Soma Hotel is a solid choice in Incheon. There are plenty of places for food and massages nearby, and the hotel also has its own massage service. The room was quiet and had what we needed for a short, restful stay, including a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and the lobby felt clean, welcoming, and a little more stylish than I expected. It’s about an hour from the airport.

The room felt more like a basement than a second-floor room, probably because it had just one small window. It was clean and recently renovated, with a decent amount of space and a good-sized, very clean bathroom. The shower has both a rain setting and a handheld head, but water gets all over the floor, so you’ll want to keep your clothes out of the way. They provide shower shoes for that. There wasn’t a light switch by the beds, so I had to get up and use the one by the bathroom. The two entry doors also seemed odd. There’s no hotel restaurant, and there isn’t much nearby, though public transit is only a few minutes’ walk away. Reaching ICN takes about an hour by metro with one transfer. The price was decent, and check-in was very easy. For gaming, the room setup is great. There are lots of charging ports and cords, plus toiletries I don’t usually see, like a full-size hairbrush and a straightener. Instant coffee and tea are provided, but the paper cups are tiny, and we only had one towel even though the room seemed able to sleep three. The pillows are almost travel-size too. It’s convenient for electronics, but the small window makes the room feel dark, and the airport trip takes a while. I’d give it 7.5/10.

The suite was surprisingly spacious, with a huge bathroom, a TV, and two computers. We only got one room key for our family of four, though, and the staff didn’t really speak English, which stood out compared with our other hotel. The first impression was that the place was fairly small. If you want more space than a standard room with two beds, I’d suggest staying here.

Really good stay. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was great, and the staff were friendly with plenty of service. Honestly, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I can’t find anything to complain about.
