Orakai Songdo Park Hotel BW Premier Collection

The view was the standout for me, and breakfast was tasty at the restaurant. The hotel is clean and a comfortable mid sized place, with an Illy café and convenience store in the lobby. It’s right in front of a subway station, so the location is handy.

The buffet had a decent range of dishes and the food tasted pretty good, though you have to make a bit of effort because it's laid out on both the left and right. I spent two nights here and found the service, cleanliness, and location all good. One suggestion: a smart TV would be better, since the current TV can't be used to watch anything.

The breakfast spread was impressive, with plenty of Western and Asian choices. It costs a bit much, but the quality and selection are good. I didn't use the gym or indoor pool, and the outdoor pool was empty during my visit, probably because of the season. My room was modern, clean, and quiet. The hotel is in an industrial area, but it's a short walk to Songdo Convensia Exhibition Hall, which worked well for my event. There are also several good restaurants and a small mall just a few minutes away. In the lobby, I found a pleasant coffee shop with a small selection of toast, pastries, and drinks, plus a convenience store for basics. I had a great stay and would return if I get the chance.

The beds were good, and the breakfast buffet was good too, though expensive. We were too busy to try the pool. I've stayed twice, and both times the shower drained badly because its drain sits higher than most of the shower floor. Water ended up on the bathroom floor outside the shower, and the bathroom lighting is poor. It's a decent four star hotel, but the bathrooms need updating.
