The location's decent, with a scenic view across the sea, and the nearby fried chicken with soda is really good. But the bed is hard as a rock and the blanket is light. Service is self-service, so I don't know what you're paying for.

The veranda looked out over the ocean toward Wolmido, and the location was decent. Restaurants and convenience stores are only a short walk away, and there's a passenger terminal with ferries to Wolmido. Parking, though, was severely limited, and the street parking nearby was very congested. I arrived around 4pm the day after Chuseok, during the holiday, and faced a long check-in queue. I first tried the quiet center, but it had a Western Hotel sign and sent me to the long line on the left. There I saw a kiosk check-in sign, but it kept failing because I didn't have a reservation number. It took a long wait before I finally checked in. On the guest room floor, some rooms still seemed to be getting cleaned, which made me uneasy, but my room was in good condition. For a four-person room, there were only two small and two large towels, and no soap. There was cleanser, conditioner, and shampoo. The TV wouldn't turn on, and I couldn't get Wi-Fi in my room. I noticed the internet cable, HDMI cable, and TV power cord were unplugged from the set-top box. What the heck? I managed to connect it after trying a few different things. The lobby service was frustrating.

I spent two hours struggling to get a different room, and I'm still angry writing this. They gave me rooms with someone already inside by mistake, three times. I'd never even encountered that twice before. For this price, service, and quality, I'd rather stay at a motel. Absolutely the worst.

The name seems to have changed to Western Grace Hotel. Other than the ocean view, I didn't find anything good about it. It feels like a motel using the word hotel, the cleanliness is terrible, and you can hear everything in the hallway because the soundproofing is so poor. The staff are unfriendly and their replies feel half-hearted.
