SR Hotel Yeongjong

This felt more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. At night, the toilet got blocked. We tried to find someone to help, then realized there was nobody on duty after office hours. We had to wait until morning, with no use of the toilet overnight, which was extremely inhumane. Staff fixed it when they came back on duty the next day. The WiFi and TV weren’t working properly either.

The room was clean and had plenty of space, much better than staying at a motel with “hotel” in its name, lol. It’s fairly close to Incheon airport, around 40 minutes away, and you only have to walk about three minutes altogether.

The room is tiny but cozy, and the floor heating is really handy. Just know that big suitcases can take up all the space.

These rooms are small, but the layout makes good use of the space. It feels like a tiny apartment, with one sofa bed downstairs and two more beds in the loft. The bathroom was modern and very clean, and there was a sink, refrigerator, and the other basics. For two or three people, I think it’s ideal for a short stay or layover. We managed with five: me, my wife, and our kids, aged 12, 10, and 7. There’s a CU convenience store downstairs that’s open 24 hours, plus plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. We booked at 10:45 pm after getting off our flight and checked in at 11:20. It was easy and straightforward, just a machine. Checkout worked the same way: insert the card and let the machine handle it. The front desk staff, both day and night, were helpful and accommodating. They were happy to store our luggage for a few hours. The building is shared with privately owned apartments and condos. SR owns 35-50% of the units and rents them out, which caused us no issues. For the value, it was a great stay, depending on what you need. It’s 18-20 minutes from the airport. We took Uber at 11 pm, but needed two cars since each Uber only fits four people. It was close enough.
