Stellar Hotel

For a week’s stay, the room was clean, with a lovely ocean view. It was cleaned and the towels were changed every day, and the air conditioning worked well even in February. The first-floor vending machine only takes electronic payment for toothbrushes and chopsticks, but there’s a convenience store in the building, so that wasn’t an issue.

There are restaurants, convenience stores, karaoke bars and other places nearby. The room was okay and the service just average. Breakfast was simple and served on the second floor.

For the price, the room was in good condition, and they let me check in early.

The sea view and balcony were nice, and we paid just €21. The beds were very comfortable, too. There’s real potential here, but the rooms and shared areas were dusty and dirty. Our first room had a broken window, so I changed rooms. The other one had a hole in the sheet, spit on the bathroom walls, and no soap. The towels were tiny, and the staff didn’t speak English. There were fingerprints in the elevator, and the walls were stained or cracked. Getting out on the tenth floor, we were met by a stretcher with a white sheet over it, like something in a morgue. The place looked abandoned. I booked this supposedly four-star hotel for a layover. I’m bringing the rating to the Korean authorities’ attention so they can remove the stars. The photos can speak for themselves. The hotel needs to be closed for renovations.
