Hotel G

We ended up here after our flight was cancelled. It was cheap and close enough to the airport, about 2km away. The room was small and basic, but clean and neat, and it met our needs. The toilet was to the right as you entered, with the bedroom door straight ahead. The toilet was spacious, the floor was heated, and essentials including toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and towels were provided. The key had a big keychain so we wouldn’t lose it. Check-in was okay, though the guy first said no rooms were available until 3pm. After we asked for an early check-in, he said to pay him 10000 won in cash, and then two rooms became available. I took off a star because we couldn’t get help with a taxi back to the airport. At 11am, checkout time, nobody was at reception. There was a sign with a number to call for a taxi, but we don’t speak Korean and would have struggled. We tried Kakao T, but no nearby taxi accepted our request. In the end, we dragged 3 suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 handbag 500m to the nearest bus stop and took Bus 365 to the airport.

It’s affordable, and a taxi ride to the airport is short. Sadly, the mattresses were really hard, and we woke up with aching backs.

It’s in a middle ground for tourist spots, neither close nor far, so you’ll need to take a bus. The room was clean and nice, and there are some restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
