Jeju Bali Resort

My son loved the terrace and its telescope, and the gardener was always smiling. He even gave my son a tangerine from a tree on the resort grounds. We were two adults and an 11-year-old child in a family room with a kitchen. The greenery and flowers were beautifully maintained, with birds chirping near the window. The facilities were clean, and there was a 24-hour GS25 convenience store. Hyeopjae beach was only a three-minute drive away. Breakfast was excellent, though vegetarian choices were limited. The chef made sautéed vegetables and vegetarian pasta for us. The front desk staff, managers, and breakfast chef were always smiling and ready to help. As Indians who speak English and eat vegetarian, we can find things challenging, but the staff were very patient and helpful.

The rooms were nice and worked well for our group. Breakfast was good too.

I stayed for two nights, and the service was good, but noise made it hard to rest. I could clearly hear hallway conversations, as well as footsteps, people talking, and chairs scraping from upstairs or next door. It was so loud that throughout my stay I kept getting woken at bad times, including in the early hours. I could hear everything as if it were happening right beside me.

Hallim Resort is next to Hallim Park and about a 40-minute drive from Jeju Airport. It was quiet and relaxing, with plenty of parking, and nearby restaurants, convenience stores, and attractions were easy to reach by car. The facilities are somewhat dated but generally clean and well maintained. The bedding was excellent, and I was very satisfied with the water pressure and the bathroom and shower hygiene. The male front desk staff were friendly, though some of the female staff could have been more welcoming. I’d recommend it for solo or family travel.
