Ganderak Guest House

The cafe was lovely, and I had breakfast there on my last day. The place is affordable and feels worth the money. It’s easy to get to convenience stores and the bus stop, too. I had a lovely stay and would come back when I visit Jeju again.

The owner was so welcoming. My flight was delayed, so I got in late, but after I contacted him, he waited for me until 11pm. It’s right by GS25 and 7-Eleven, and the guesthouse is also a book cafe. The bus stop is a two-minute walk away, buses come often, and some go straight to the airport. If you’re planning to hike Hallasan, it worked well for me to take a taxi early in the morning, which cost less than 10k. The rooms are clean and fully equipped. The shared bathroom was extremely clean, which matters a lot to me, and they provide toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, a hair dryer, and umbrellas to borrow. The kitchen is small but adequate, and the fridge is very clean. I really liked the firm mattress.

Handy spot in jeju city, especially if you’ve got a car. There’s a nice gym across the street with day passes, plus two convenience stores. The room and bathrooms were clean. :)

The hostel is very clean and well organized, and the hosts are great. The bed has a heated mattress, which felt great after a day of walking around. It’s quite close to the bus stop, so the location is convenient. There’s also a nice coffee library on site.
