Aewol Cutiepie Hotel

The room was spacious, with two single beds, one queen bed, and a huge balcony facing the sea. It was fairly ordinary and dated in design, but had the basics: a fridge, TV, and hair dryer. Given the room size, location, and view, I'd rate it four stars. The service was limited, and the lack of a lift was a downside. We arrived around 6 pm local time after more than 12 hectic hours of travel and flights to Jeju, for our first night there. This is a coastal hotel. Our visit was on the winter Thursday evening of 07/12/2023. With three huge suitcases and no lift, we had to carry everything up the stairs. We ended up taking out the shower essentials and leaving the luggage in the car. These are just our personal impressions and experience. 🇰🇷 ✈️ 🛗 🧳

There are lots of photo spots right in front of the hotel, and I had no regrets staying here. If I could, I'd have spent my whole Jeju trip here. It's right by the ocean, and next door there's a famous black pork BBQ place you shouldn't miss. The lobby is a cafe serving coffee and cakes, with a convenience store beside it and plenty more restaurants down the road. The location is better than great. Getting a bus into the city means walking about 15-20 minutes to the main road, which was still okay in the cool weather. The toilet has a bidet and hair dryer. They don't provide large towels, though, and there's no lift to the other floors, so you'll have to carry big luggage upstairs. Five stars from me, I'd recommend it and stay again!

The rooms are okay, and each room gets one complimentary drink per day. The standout is the location in Aewol, a small town on Jeju Island. The hotel is next to two highly rated, recommended restaurants, one for black pork BBQ and another just west of the hotel for seafood sashimi. It's a great place to enjoy both sunrise and sunset.

With a little one, no lift and no YouTube were dealbreakers for us. We won't return, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
