I-Jin Hotel

We spent a few days there on a family holiday, and our room looked out toward Hallasan. It was spacious, and having a basement car park was handy, though spaces there are limited. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance too. The EV charger was out of order when we noticed it, but that didn't affect our stay.

We stayed four nights during a summer trip to Jeju Island. Our room was small for two, though comfortable enough since we mostly used it to sleep. It came with bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, and some coffee and tea. We also got a cafe voucher for a free americano when buying another drink. Breakfast was included, but the selection was limited. If you’re Muslim, ask the chef about pork or other meat: the seaweed snacks contained pork, so vegetarians should be careful too. The chef was friendly and helped us figure out what we could eat after noticing our hijabs. There’s a CU mart open 24 hours nearby, and several little cafes and coffee shops are an easy walk away.

The first thing we noticed after settling in was how much room there still was with our Brompton bikes folded inside. The receptionist had seemed unsure about letting us bring them in, but once we showed how compact they were, he was fine with it. The rooms were tidy, clean, comfortable, and had the basics we needed. Staff were warm and helpful throughout. We'd come to Jeju to cycle the Jeju Fantasy Bike Path counterclockwise and get our certification, with a few days at I-Jin Hotel in Jeju City to relax at the end. We picked it for the Google ratings, reasonable price, and location near Dongmun Traditional Market, Shilla Duty Free, Jeju Sports Complex, and Nuwemaru Street. It made getting around the city and doing some shopping easy. There’s a bakery and cafe just downstairs, good for a quick beer or coffee. We liked the cafe’s relaxed feel. The hotel has an indoor car park too, which came in handy after we rented a car the next day. There’s no laundry on site, but the receptionist pointed us to a laundry shop about three minutes away.

We liked that we could keep our Brompton bikes in the room without losing much space, once we showed the receptionist how small they fold. At first he seemed reluctant, but then agreed. The rooms were clean and comfortable with the things we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were finishing our counterclockwise ride around Jeju on the Jeju Fantasy Bike Path, aiming to get our certification, and stayed a few days at I-Jin Hotel in Jeju City to rest. The price seemed reasonable and the Google ratings were good. It’s also close to Dongmun Traditional Market, Shilla Duty Free, Jeju Sports Complex, and Nuwemaru Street, which was convenient for exploring and shopping. A bakery and cafe downstairs made it easy to grab a coffee or a beer, and the cafe had a relaxed atmosphere we enjoyed. There’s an indoor car park at the hotel, useful after we rented a car the next day. Laundry isn’t available there, but the receptionist recommended a shop three minutes away. We'd rate the location 4.5/5, cleanliness and comfort 4/5, and service 4.5/5, for 4/5 overall.
