Check Inn Hotel Jeju

My room looked out over part of the sea, and the size was decent for the price. I stayed at this Check Inn hotel, though it has a different name here. On the downside, the sheets felt a little itchy and maybe weren't very clean, there were insects in the toilet (luckily there was insect spray in the room), and parking is very limited, with only two spaces.

The location is the big draw here, with the black pork and sashimi streets, shopping, convenience shops, and the esplanade all close by. Our four-person room had an attached bathroom and a window, and felt clean and comfortable, though tighter than hotels outside the city center. Amenities are minimal and the price isn't especially cheap, but for a basic overnight stay it worked out fine. We did hear noise from the fun park across the street. The staff member who greeted us spoke very little English, so don't count on getting much information at the front desk.

Chicken? Check in? For one night before a flight, the airport location and nearby car rentals make this an okay option for the price. The complimentary drink was a nice touch. My room had no sea view, the window was filthy, and the walls were thin, though. It could be much better.

The smart lock on the hotel door was frustrating at times, but the counter staff member was so friendly and easy to talk to. He handled our 29849283 requests with a smile :))) Left with a positive impression.
