Hongik Jeju Hotel

Breakfast included both Korean and Western choices, and there’s a convenience store in the basement for anything you forgot. The hotel is older, though mostly well managed, and the upper-floor rooms tend to run a bit hot. It’s a little away from the main road, but if you’re planning to explore this side of Jeju, you could do worse.

I wouldn't recommend staying here.

A really nice place to stay.

The Family Room is split into three rooms. One has ondol heating and is the smallest, fine for two adults, or three if you squeeze in. The other two have beds and suit two people each. The biggest can sleep up to eight if someone takes the floor, though the beds aren't comfortable. For families traveling with pets or a larger group, it could work well. We couldn't bring our dog because of the circumstances, but they still gave us a welcome kit. Breakfast lets you cook ham and eggs yourself, with toast, soup, cereal, and milk available. The value for money gets five points from me. The front desk staff were friendly, and the lobby and building have plenty of space. You can even see Biyangdo Island from the first floor, although something partly blocks the view. The building looks a little old, but the inside is clean and seems to have been remodeled.
