Jeju Parkside Hotel

The room was spacious, clean, and so comfortable.

The service was lovely, and I had a very nice stay.

We paid just over 700 NTD a night. The hotel is right in the city center, with lots of places to eat nearby and a 7-Eleven close by too. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water. There’s free parking, including lots of spaces in the nearby alleys, and free massage chairs in the first-floor lobby. Highly recommended.

The weak soundproofing was the biggest issue for me. I could hear people talking loudly in the hallway from both rooms beside it, even early in the morning or late at night. There’s also just one elevator, so when a big group checks in, the wait can stretch to 10-20 minutes and get frustrating. The hotel is near the Yeondong shopping district, which made shopping and late-night snacks easy, and there’s a convenience store downstairs. The room felt a bit dated, though it was fairly clean if you didn’t look too closely. The shower spray was so strong it hurt, but turning it down left it too weak. Sometimes the hot water also wasn’t warm enough when lots of guests were using it. Breakfast is accessed from B1, from 6 to 9, with last entry at 8:30. The Wi-Fi connects to the strongest signal without a password. There’s a 7-11 on the right side of the first floor. Keep your key card safe, since there’s a fee if it’s lost, and smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms.
